5K SAP RUN 2020

This year the 5K Sap Run is helping to raise awareness and help support the Service Dogs for Vets with PTSD Program offered by Action Toward Independence in Sullivan County. This program helps pair a Veteran with a compatible dog from local shelters. The dog along with the Veteran will go through a series of training to become a service dog. Service dogs provide much needed emotional support for our Veterans.

If you would like to contribute to this, both the downloadable registration form and online registration will give you the choice. It is an additional $5.00 per registration and you will receive a special shirt.

Jeffersonville’s 5K Sap Run

Race starts at 9am in front of the Jeff Bank on State Route 52.

The race is USATF Certified: NY15094JG

Runners and walkers welcome.

Awards: Top 3 Overall Female and Male runners; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group; Walkers overall male and female; Fastest Male and Female team.

Day of registration and race packet pick-up starts at 7am and will be located in the Backyard Park. Signs will be up to follow. Runners will then follow Lovett Lane out of the park and over walking bridge to the start of the race.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Our youngest age group is 12 and under. Parent/Legal Guardian must sign registration form for runners 18 years of age and younger. We do have a 70 plus age group.

What do I get with my registration fee?

If you are one of the first 150 to register, you are guaranteed a free 5K Sap Run t-shirt.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Since we are in a rural area, driving your own vehicle is the best option. If you have a large group we can accommodate van/bus parking nearby. We will be posting parking areas on our website shortly.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

We recommend bringing along ONLY what you need and please leave all valuables at home. There will be a Maple Festival going on also so if you would like to bring along a change of clothes and stay awhile after the race there will be a place you can change out of your race gear.

How big/small do teams have to be?

Top 3 cumulative times counting. Teams of 5 or more receive a $2.00 discount for each team participant. Trophy awarded to fastest men’s and women’s team. To recieve your $2.00 TEAM DISCOUNT please use code TEAMRUNNER. Discount only applies to participants running on a TEAM.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable or refundable?

Sorry but tickets are not transferrable or refundable.

Are pets allowed?

Animals are NOT allowed (with the exception of service dogs)

Will there be a photograper?

There will be someone taking photos and posting them to our facebook page.
