A CELEBRATION OF PHOTOGRAPHY IN JEFFERSONVILLE, NY

LOOK FOR PHOTO EXHIBITS IN STOREFRONTS
AND PUBLIC PLACES ALONG MAIN STREET

Jeffersonville, NY and The Jeffersonville Area Chamber of Commerce, is hosting its first-ever Jeff Foto Fest, bringing photography to the heart of this small Catskills town. The event features work from local professional and fine art photographers as well as images by alumni of the Eddie Adams Workshop. The photos cover a wide range of subjects—not just local scenes—and highlight how photography helps us see everyday life in new ways. With exhibits in storefronts and public spaces, the festival invites everyone to stop, look, and appreciate the stories pictures can tell, whether from across the world or right next door.

CHARLIE DILL

LOCATION: Along fence of  St. George’s Church park. Across from the Tavern on Main,

Charlie fell in love with photography 40 plus years ago. First shooting with black and white then color and now on to digital. He is always looking for those special shots and moments to grab that perfect picture. He believe’s there is that magic photo just about anyplace if you just stop to take a look. Too many people are in such a hurry for that quick instant gratifiction that they don’t see beauty in front of them.

Charlie likes to describe his photography as seeing what others miss. From that little bug sitting on a flower petal. To the majestic bald eagle looking for its next meal, or the way the light shines just right on an old wall and how the fog hovers over a gentle stream.

Charlie has been displayed internationally in Spain, Greece, Vietnam, India and Mexico. Plus in various magazines and galleries including Shutterbug, Photo Weekly, Catskill Mountain Region, Neversink River Co-op.

Support the Jeff Art Wall: Celebrating Local Creativity

Jeffersonville has always taken pride in supporting local artists — whether they’ve grown up here or chosen to make this community their home, full-time or part-time. The Jeff Art Wall was created as a space to showcase that talent and share it with our community.

We envision transforming the Jeff Art Wall into a rotating exhibit, featuring the diverse works of photographers and artists from across the area. This will not only bring fresh creativity to our public spaces but also give more artists the opportunity to be seen and celebrated.

If you’d like to support this project and help us bring more art to Jeffersonville, please consider making a donation. Your contribution will go directly toward materials, installation, and the ongoing curation of local artwork.

Let’s make Jeffersonville a canvas for creativity — together.

A Special thank you to:
